Comments: This paper studies curvature motions in planes whose norm is varying with the time. In other words, the motion of the curve is ruled at each time by a different norm. Evolution formulas and existence results are obtained. As a corollary of our results, we show that the solutions of a certain family of parabolic nonlinear PDE’s have a uniform blow up time (for some of its derivatives).
