O\u00a0texto das aulas ser\u00e1 totalmente focado nos conceitos, nas ideias que os norteiam e nas rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre eles, estabelecidas em teoremas e demonstra\u00e7\u00f5es. Foi criada recentemente por um grupo de pesquisadores do MIT, \u00e9 uma linguagem de alto n\u00edvel (como Python, R e Matlab),\u00a0<em>open source.<\/em>\u00a0\u00c9 ideal para ser usada como ferramenta de c\u00e1lculo nesse curso (portanto, voc\u00ea pode por exemplo conferir se a solu\u00e7\u00e3o do seu exerc\u00edcio est\u00e1 correta), e nos exerc\u00edcios de &#8220;aplica\u00e7\u00f5es&#8221; se torna quase indispens\u00e1vel. Inclusive, muitos exerc\u00edcios da lista foram retirados dele.
