Luiz S\u00e9rgio de Oliveira \u00e9 artista e professor titular do departamento de Arte da Universidade Federal Fluminense. Doutor em Artes Visuais (Hist\u00f3ria e Teoria da Arte) pelo PPGAV-EBA-UFRJ (2006), com est\u00e1gio de pesquisador associado junto \u00e0 Universidade de San Diego (USD), Calif\u00f3rnia, Estados Unidos. Cursou Mestrado em Arte na Universidade de Nova York (NYU), Estados Unidos (1991) e gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Artes Visuais (pintura) na EBA-UFRJ (1978). \u00c9 professor do Programa de P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Estudos Contempor\u00e2neos das Artes (PPGCA-UFF), do qual foi o Coordenador no per\u00edodo de 2008 a 2013. \u00c9 Bolsista de Produtividade em Pesquisa do CNPq. Fundador e Editor-chefe da Revista Arte: Cidade: Lugar. Foi tamb\u00e9m o Editor-Chefe da Revista Poi\u00e9sis (PPGCA-UFF) entre 2011 e 2014, e entre 2017 e 2022. \u00c9 o atual coordenador nacional do Grupo de Estudos sobre Arte P\u00fablica no Brasil \u2013 GEAP BR, grupo que integra desde 2016. Vincula-se ao Grupo de Estudos sobre Arte P\u00fablica na Am\u00e9rica Latina \u2013 GEAP LA, desde 2011.<\/span><\/p>\n
