Why am I a mathematician?

I am a mathematician, working in dynamical systems and smooth ergodic theory. In the European academic year of 2023-2024 I have visiting position at Université Paris-Saclay (France), funded by CNPq. Currently, my main topic of research is about rigidity properties of unstable foliations in partially hyperbolic dynamics, as in this paper. I'am writing a generalization of this result to endomorphisms and working in related problems. Nevertheless, I still maintain active research on other topics, notably Dirac physical measures for generic surface diffeomorphisms and existence of common zeros for commuting vector fields. My recent research is funded by a CNPq grant "Bolsista de Produtividade - Nivel 2" (2019-2022), and two FAPERJ grants "Jovem Cientista do Nosso Estado" (2021 - 2024) and "Auxílio ao Jovem Pesquisador Fluminense (2022-2025)".
